KINOPOLIS Festival 2011 - summary!
6th Polish Film Festival in Dublin came to an end.

KINOPOLIS IN NUMBERS
At the KINOPOLIS 2011 we had 3 projections in Cineworld
and 6 in the Irish Film Institute. The program included 8 feature films and 7 animations. Festival screenings were watched by
more than 2,000 viewers, some of whom participated in 2 meetings with the filmmakers and in 4 lectures about Polish film classics. Apart from Tomasz Bagiński, Łukasz Garlicki and
Michał Oleszczyk (film critic), Dublin was visited by Leszek Kopeć (Chairman of the Board of Pomeranian Film Foundation in Gdynia and Director of the Polish Film Festival), Włodzimierz Niderhaus (Director of Documentary and Feature Film Production Company
in Warsaw and producer), and Włodzimierz Grzechnik
(Head of Culture Department in the City of Gdynia
which is one of the organizers of the Polish Film Festival).

From the beginning of the existence of KINOPOLIS Festival,
its organizer is Pomeranian Film Foundation in Gdynia,
partnered by the Polish Embassy in Dublin.

KINOPOLIS 2011 took place thanks to a grant from
the Polish Film Institute, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and Polish Embassy in Dublin.

Drawing contest results!
 
Polish Academy of Knowledge organized a contest for the nicest picture depicting a Polish film or a cartoon.
The winners are: Amelia Jaroszyńska, Jakub Hawryluk, Filip Laskowski, Fabian Kierzkowski.
The winners receive tickets for the Sunday screening of The Flying Machine
(Cineworld, 2.00pm, screening room 1). Congratulations!
